    I’m finally back in New York after a month in my home state of Massachusetts, including two non-stop weeks in North Adams working for Nick Brooke as lead audio tech, sound designer and live mix engineer for his residency at Mass MoCA. I wish I could say I’ll have some time to relax, but I wont. While I do have some free time, though, I thought I’d share some thoughts of the last few weeks.

    Looking towards fall

    I love this time of year.

    Today was the first day that I really started to feel like Fall was upon us. I’m in very serious planning mode these days with a major redesign of this website, a couple of huge audition/application-based opportunities coming up, grant applications, and searching for space for a spring show focusing on text-based work, all on my plate. I have barely had time to be outside at all.

    I went to meet Jo today to talk about fundraising, and as I walked up the street ran into a friend of mine who moved to NY right around the same time I did, and who I haven’t seen in probably six years. (more…)
