Celebrating Cage

Avant Media began celebrating John Cage back in 2007 in honor of his 95th birthday with a concert at The Kitchen. Since then, we have continued to celebrate his work and influence through concerts on the annual Avant Music Festival, and stand-alone projects like 49Waltzes.com. This fall we will begin marking his birthday each year with a special concert and birthday celebration at Wild Project to kick off our 2014-2015 season.
